Family Friendly Events You Don’t Want To Miss This September

I have always loved the month of September. It represents change, new beginnings, but most importantly FALL! Hoodies, Pumpkin Spice, Leaves and Festivals. There is nothing like a good Arts Festival or Fall Fest to get you in the spirit.

What is your favorite thing about September?

Due to COVID-19, there are a lot of festivals that have been canceled or are going “virtual”. However, there is still a handful of safe family friendly events happening this September that you don’t want to miss!!

Telford Night Market: Wednesday, September 2nd from 5:30 pm-8:30 pm. It is located at the Telford Train Station between Penn Ave and Main Street in Telford, PA. The night market features specialty foods, wine, crafts, art and so much more.

Upper Merion Farmers Market: Saturday, September 5th from 10:00 am-12:30 pm. It is located behind the Upper Merion Township Building. The outdoor market offers farm-fresh goods and sustainable products from more than two dozen local farmers and producers.

Habitat Hike- Peter Wentz Farmstead: Saturday, September 12th from 10:00 am-11:00 am. Explore different habitats and observe the animals that live there. Bring your own binoculars. Wear sturdy shoes for hiking.

Towamencin Township Community Day: Saturday, September 19th from 12:00 pm-4:00 pm. Located at Fischer’s Park in Lansdale, PA. This event offers free face painting, balloon animals, pony rides, inflatables, magic shows, and much more!

Craft Marketplace- Penny Packer Mills: Saturday, September 19th from 9:30 am- 3:00 pm. Located on the grounds of Penny Packer Mills located at Haldeman Road in Schwenksville, PA. This event offers a variety of craft styles from elegant jewelry to stocking stuffers.

Due to COVID-19 this event is limiting the amount of visitors to 250 persons. All guests are required to wear a mask if over the age of two years old. Click Here for more information about this event.
