Lights, Animals and Christmas Cheer| Elmwood Park Zoo
The zoo is one of Brayden’s favorite places to go. He loves the giraffes, zebras and big cats. During the colder months most of his favorite animals are not a part of the winter zoo experience but he still loves going to enjoy the other animals that are on display. Even though this is a smaller zoo, there are still plenty of animals on display to keep him occupied for a couple hours.
So immediately when I heard about Elmwood Park Zoo’s Wild Lights; I knew it was something we couldn’t miss! And to no surprise, we had the best time!!!
The Wild Lights at the Elmwood Park Zoo has a great combination of lights, animal encounters, live entertainment, performances, character appearances, holiday music, and much more!
Our favorite attractions at Wild Lights was definitely seeing the enormous Christmas tree, the animal light display, walking through the whimsical light tunnel by the Byson exhibit and getting to see Santa himself!
Wild Lights operates on select days and times from November 20th-December 30th 2020. All guests, including members, must purchase a timed ticket to attend.
The Elmwood Park Zoo is also hosting another safe event this holiday season called, “Brunch with Santa”. At this event you can enjoy a delicious meal, make holiday crafts and see Santa! General zoo admissions is included with the purchase of this ticket. Space is limited. Prior registration is required.
