Screen Free Indoor Activities For The Whole Family!

I am not sure about all the other mamas, but I find trying to keep Brayden’s screen time very limited to be challenging. Not to mention COVID-19 and winter, am I right??!! I am constantly trying to think of things we can do as a family that don’t involve the TV or electronics. So I have compiled an awesome list of Screen Free Indoor Family Activities For The Whole Family!

1.) Arnolds Family Fun Center: Oaks, PA

Arnolds is one of the largest indoor fun centers in the United States! Arnolds offers two laser tag venues, go karts, arcade, mini golf, bounce house bowling and lets not forget the food!

Arnolds is open Friday-Monday and does not require a reservation to go.

2.) Lego Land Discovery Center: Plymouth Meeting, PA

Lego Land is the ultimate indoor lego playground. Hope aboard the imagination express interactive ride. See your favorite Lego characters, build and test Lego racers, Watch a 4D cinema and explore the Pirate Adventure Land playground.

No prior reservation is required but they highly suggest that you make a reservation online to ensure you are able to attend due to limited capacity.

3.) Linvilla Orchard Indoor Mini Golf: Media, PA

Linvilla has partnered with the Academy of Natural Sciences in Philadelphia to create this unique indoor mini golf experience. This 18 hole mini golf course explores a tropic rain forest, dinosaur extinction, butterfly meta morphosis, food chain and much more.

Please note that this exhibit is inside a greenhouse and the temperatures are very warm. It is encouraged to wear layers so you can adjust accordingly.

Due to CDC guidelines this attraction requires prepaid time tickets. Only a limited number of guests are permitted at once. All tickets are nonrefundable.

4.) Upper Merion Library: King of Prussia, PA

The Upper Merion Library is one of the few libraries that are actually open. They do not offer the traditional children story times or activities due to covid-19 but you are still able to go and explore the books you know and love. When you arrive you must take your temperature with a touchless thermometer and sign a waiver.

All returned books are quarantined for 72hrs before they are put back on the shelf to ensure they are safe for visitors.

The Upper Merion Library is currently offering a variety of children and adult programs online weekly.

5.) Little Pod: North Wales, PA

Little Pod is a great indoor playground for toddlers. They allow little ones to play, climb, learn and explore through interactive playing.

The Little Pod offers a bounce house, playground, arcade, a foam play area and cafe.

Please note prior online registration and socks are required.

6.) Urban Air: East Norriton, PA

Urban Air is an indoor Amusement Park geared toward older children. Urban Air is definitely more than just a trampoline park they offer bumper cars, a rope course, climbing wall, dodge ball, Sky Rider, Leap of Faith and so much more!

You can purchase specific attractions or get an all access pass. Prices range from $15.99-29.99 per a person. No prior reservations required.

7.) Hatfield Ice: Hatfield, PA

Hatfield Ice offers public skating for all ages every day of the week. Masks are required on the ice and no prior reservation is required.

8.) Superior Play Systems: Norristown, PA

Superior Play Systems is a playground super store that offers a kid friendly interactive showroom where families can “test before they invest.”. Open Play prices vary based upon the day. No prior appointments are necessary.

This location also offers birthday party packages where kids can play for two hours for one low price.

9.) Keystone N Trak: North Wales, PA

Calling all train enthusiasts! Keystone N Trak holds Open House events every month where the public can come out and see what trains are chugging along the tracks.

No prior reservations are required but entry is limited to six people at a time. Masks are required. Admission and parking are free.

10.) Limerick Bowling: Limerick, PA

Limerick Bowling offers fun for the whole family. They have recently introduced a new take on bowling called Hyperbowling. This new spin is inspired by video games and is sure to please! You have to check it out for yourself!

Limerick Bowling has installed a UV-Air purifier throughout the building that purifies the air and is a proven virus neutralizer.

11.) Color Me Mine: Wayne, PA

Color Me Mine is a great way to explore your creativity through ceramics with your family in a laid back setting. You pick it, paint it, glaze it and enjoy it! Space is limited; Prior table reservations are required.

Color Me Mine also offers curbside pick up options so you can enjoy the painting experience with your family in the comfort and safety of your own home.

12.) BounceU: Collegeville, PA

BouncU is an indoor play center for the whole family! They have inflatables, dodgeball, trampolines and so much more!

They also offer daily toddler only bounce hours of nonstop bouncing for kiddos 1-4 years old. Prior reservations required.

Bounce U also offers inflatables for rent. Prices and times vary based upon the day and hours.

13.) SkyZone Trampoline Park: Oaks, PA

SkyZone is a massive wall to wall freestyle trampoline park that offers a foam zone, ultimate dodgeball and SkySlam.

The foam zone is one of my favorite attractions at SkyZone. The foam zone offers big air and soft landings. Individuals can jump as high and daring as they like into a pool of soft foam squares.

Space is limited due to CDC guidelines so prior reservations are required

14.) American Helicopter Museum: West Chester, PA

The American Helicopter Museum offers over 35 helicopters to see in and around the museum. This museum offers a hands on experience for all ages!

The American Helicopter Museum is open to the public Friday-Sunday 12PM-5PM. Prior reservations are required. Group tours are available by appointment only on Wednesday and Thursdays

15.) Oasis Family Fun Center: Glen Mills, PA

The Oasis Family Fun Center offers A soft playground, slides, tunnels, mazes laser tage, rocking climbing, Ballocity Arena and a toddler area for kiddos 0-3 years old.

Oasis Family Fun Center is sure to quench your families thirst for fun!

16.) Ringing Rocks Roller Rink: Pottstown, PA

The Ringing Rocks Roller Rink is one of the few roller skating rinks still around in the Montgomery County area. This roller rink is truly nostalgic and brings you back to 70’s. Ringing Rocks also offers food and arcade games. The rink is open Friday-Sunday and hours vary based upon the day.

17.) Marple Sports Arena: Broomall, PA

Marple Sports Arena is known as being a premier indoor sports arena but they also offer public sessions where kids can skate, jump on a moon bounce or climb the rock wall. Public Session nights have something for the whole family! Open skate nights occur Friday-Sunday.

18.) Romp N Roll: Willow Grove, PA

Romp N Roll is a gymnastic center that offers classes or open play weekly. This is a great place to have fun, move and learn through play.

Open play occurs weekly and is offered for kiddos three months to five years old.

19.) Kidzone at Plymouth Meeting Community Center: Plymouth Meeting, PA

offers a 90 minute private play experience for a group of five children. The kidzone offers a moon bounce, soft play equipment and tones of toys to play with.

Prior reservations required.

20.) Chatter Splatter: Conshohocken, PA

Chatter Splatter is the indoor toddler playground. There are a variety of laugh toys, cars, trains, seesaws and bouncy things. This playground is good for crawlers to five years old.

Chatter Splatter is open Monday-Friday 9AM-12PM for open play. Prior reservations are required to attend.
