Top Five Playgrounds for Two Year Old’s

There is nothing like going to a playground with your little tot. There is so much to do and explore. It is a great way to have fun and burn off some energy before that afternoon nap! 😉

One obstacle we have faced though is Brayden getting knocked over by older kids. They are harmlessly playing, but they are just a little too rough for Bray.

However, we have found some great playgrounds for little ones that have become some of our favorites that we would love to share with you!

Greater Plymouth Community Center Park (Plymouth Meeting, PA) – Is a hidden jem. There is two sides of the playground. One for bigger kids 5-12 years old and another side for toddlers, 2-4 years old. There is a nice sized Pavilion in the middle for shade and a small track around the playground, which is great for scooters or a nice little run with the kiddos.

Montgomery Township Spray Park (Montgomeryville, PA) – is a very clean, well maintained playground and splash pad. Everything is geared toward little ones so you can let them freely explore without having a panic attack. 🙂 There are Hammocks above some of the playground equipment which allows for some cool shade and foam padding on the ground.

Lower Perkiomen Valley Park (Oaks, PA)- Has a great playground for small children. It is well shaded by the trees so you can go any time and you don’t have to worry about it being too hot. It offers plenty of places to sit and trails to explore if you are seeking some additional fun!

Fischer’s Park (Harleysville, PA) Also has two playgrounds designated by age groups. The first one is for little ones 2-5 years old and the other is for bigger kids from 5-12 years old. The toddler playground offers a small stair “rock wall” and multiple slides and swings. It is sure to keep your tot entertained.

Chestnut Street Playground (Souderton, PA) Is handicap accessible as well as offering music makers and brail for children who are blind to engage with. The playground equipment is pretty low to the ground so you don’t have to hold your breath every time your little kiddo jumps off the steps. 🙂

We would love to hear about your favorite playgrounds and why! 🙂
